I'm originally from Copenhagen, Denmark, but I have lived abroad since 1991, when I decided to move to London for what was intended to be just a gap year. Here, I met my husband, and our life together turned into a globetrotting adventure following his career (London, New York, Tokyo, and Singapore).

Hi, I'm Birgitte Rosenkilde (she/her)
I'm originally from Copenhagen, Denmark, but I have lived abroad since 1991, when I decided to move to London for what was intended to be just a gap year. Here, I met my husband, and our life together turned into a globetrotting adventure following his career (London, New York, Tokyo, and Singapore).
For the past 16 years, we have lived in Singapore with our three children - two teens and one young adult (who recently "flew the nest"), and two dogs.
Learning about human behavior has interested me for as long as I can remember. And I hold two degrees—a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Psychology and a Master of Science in Organisational & Social Psychology from
LSE, University of London.
When I discovered the power of Yoga and Mindfulness, it became my true calling and has led me onto a wonderful and meaningful path of learning about mental health and wellness.
I'm a certified and registered Yoga instructor with a particular interest in Women's Health and Mental Health Yoga Therapy. I'm a Sound therapist using Tibetan singing bowls, both in group sound baths and in individual sound therapy sessions. I'm also a Reiki second-degree attuned practitioner in the Usui lineage.
Currently, I'm finishing a two-year study and practicum as a teacher at the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program (MMTCP), facilitated by the world-renowned masters of mindfulness and clinical psychologists Tara Brach & Jack Kornfield.
On completion, I will be certified by Sounds True and the Greater Good Science Center, University of California, Berkley.
I'm in the process of becoming a certified Pre-Natal & Post Partum Yoga Teacher under Amber Sawyer from The Embodied Woman Yoga.
I'm also currently undertaking a certification in both Somatic Trauma Therapy and Applied Polyvagal Theory in Therapeutic
Yoga for Trauma Recovery taught by Stephen Porgess, Deb Dana, Arielle Schwartz & other well-known names in this field.
In my current offerings, I mainly work with individuals and smaller groups of women to help ease stress and promote mental health and wellness through a unique combination of Mindfulness Meditation, Mindful Movement, Yoga, Breathwork, Reiki, and Sound therapy.
I’m the founder of 'With Mums in Mind, ' a small Singapore-based support group for mothers of teens struggling with mental health challenges. Our group has existed since 2019 and has been life-changing.
